Your consultation will be performed by a healthcare professional with extensive experience working with adults that have safety concerns due to medical and cognitive problems.

Virtual Home Safety Visit

You are purchasing a remote consultative visit for caregiving information, wellness and/or preventative purposes. These visits are approximately 60 minutes long which include the follow up discussion and questions. The duration of the call is not as important as the quality of the information provided.

Your concerns are our concerns. We have years of professional experience providing care around fall prevention and Aging in Place. Let us make your caregiving job easier with personalized, professional training.

Recording the Visit

The virtual consultation takes place at a time and date using a virtual platform like Zoom. You will book a visit at the time you specify. The consultation takes place on your schedule. Social distancing occurs naturally.

It’s best to have a third person present to record the virtual visit. Keep the recording for your personal use. Tell your loved one in advance what to expect. The person will be observed performing typical household tasks in the living area, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom.

The Informed Caregiver uses a Zoom transcription service to summarize the visit. We may also take notes for our own purpose~ to accurately recall details of the consultation. There are no privacy issues or concerns about confidentiality since no information is ever shared outside of the visit. 

Be mindful that the client is being observed in their natural environment.

Please refrain from cueing or assisting the client as much as possible.

The videographer should stay approximately six feet away from the action for best results.
