The Informed Caregiver will provide you and your family with a safe, socially distanced virtual Home Safety Visit.

This is the new, post pandemic version of caregiver training.

Studies show that caregiver training is lacking in the post pandemic healthcare environment.

The virtual Home Safety Visit provides personalized, practical recommendations for making a your caregiving home safe and comfortable for a unique person.

It is specific to the actual situation. The service requires use of a smartphone or tablet for recording the visit.

Before the Virtual Home Safety Consult

The home caregiver will provide basic information about their caregiving questions in a FREE Caregiver Success Call. If it’s determined that the home caregiver will benefit from a virtual Home Safety Visit, then arrangements for scheduling and payment are made. Having a third person, not the caregiver, present to do the filming is recommended for the best experience.

What to Expect from The Virtual Home Safety Visit

At the beginning of the virtual Home Safety Visit, the client will be seated in their favorite chair.

They will be greeted by their Informed Caregiver via the smartphone or tablet being used. A brief social interview will happen, to establish a relationship.

The home caregiver and the person filming the session should  remain silent throughout the session. The home caregiver will assist the client, as needed, to understand and perform the mobility and self care tasks requested.

If no caregiver assistance is required it is best if the caregiver remains in the background so that the Informed Caregiver can carefully and remotely, observe the client
